I recently came across the Life Math Money blog. It really has nice articles on a regular basis, such as this one about Anchor Impressions: How to Get People to Think What You Want Them to Think

Some money quotes:

Anchoring is a cognitive bias where an individual relies too heavily on an initial piece of information offered (known as the “anchor”) when making decisions.

And:

“If you put a small value on yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price.”

Also nice:

Bad salesmanship = bankruptcy.

This might not be a revelation, but intentionally known things are said explicitly. This helps to become more aware of them – what probably doesn't hurt.
