Nowadays - Firebase from Google allows you to create web application almost identical to the native application. So even offline mode is working pretty well and PWA saves a lot of spaces in the smartphones. Also PWA saving web app's icon at the main smartphone screen the same way as the native app does.
The https://whatwebcando.today link is quite interesting! But these features have written security and privacy issues all over the place 😳
For example: Inter-app communication, credentials, all the sensors stuff, Bluetooth, ambient light, gestures, and speech recognition!? (I could just list all features...)
Ambient light detection alone can become problematic, and that's only one little thing.
I'm sure there will be sites that require a user to sync their contacts to use the service. The mobile apps do this today already, and seemingly nobody cares.
Oh boy, information security is a lost field... well, probably not entirely, but it's really not easy!
